Booking & Scheduling

7 questions
How far in advance should I book my move?

For local moves, one to two weeks ahead is ideal. For long-distance moves, plan on four to six weeks. Weekends, month-end dates and May through August fill up first, so book earlier if your date falls in peak season.

Do you offer same-day or next-day moves?

Often, yes, depending on crew availability. Call or text us for the fastest answer on a short-notice move.

Do you move on evenings and weekends?

Yes. We move seven days a week, and after-hours and overnight office moves are available by appointment so your business doesn't lose a working day.

What if my moving date changes?

You can reschedule for free up to 48 hours before your move. Just call or text your move coordinator.

How do I cancel my move?

Let us know as early as possible so we can release your crew. There's no deposit to book, so there's nothing to refund. Any late-cancellation terms are spelled out in your written estimate before you book.

When will the crew arrive?

You get an arrival window ahead of time, and your crew lead calls if traffic or an earlier job changes it. No vague "sometime in the morning."

Do I need to be home on moving day?

It's best if you are, but it isn't required. Someone you trust can be there instead. They'll walk through with the crew lead before loading and sign off on the final walkthrough.

Pricing & Payment

9 questions
How much do movers cost in Houston?

Every move is different, so we don't quote a one-size-fits-all number. Your price depends on how much you're moving, distance, crew size, access at both homes and any extra services. After a quick walk-through we send a written estimate with every cost listed.

How do you calculate my moving price?

We look at your inventory, the distance, crew size and time needed, access at both ends (stairs, elevators, long walks to the truck), and any packing, storage or specialty items like pianos and safes.

Will my final price be different from my estimate?

No, not unless something changes. The price in your written estimate is what you pay. If you add items or services, we agree on the change with you in writing before any work is done.

Do you require a deposit?

No. There's no deposit to book or hold your date.

When do I pay?

After your move is complete and you've signed the final walkthrough. Never before the work is done.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards and other common payment methods. The options available for your move are confirmed in your written estimate.

Are there hidden fees for stairs, fuel or long carries?

No. If something like stairs or a long carry applies to your move, it's listed in your estimate up front. Nothing gets added at the door.

Do you charge for packing materials?

If you book our packing service, materials are listed in your estimate. Packing yourself? We can supply boxes, tape and wrap at the prices shown in your quote.

Should I tip my movers?

Tipping is never required or expected. If your crew did a great job, a tip or an honest review is always appreciated.

Protection & Insurance

6 questions
Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We're licensed and insured for local, in-state and interstate moves. Our USDOT number is , which you can verify on the FMCSA website. Our Texas DMV number is .

What does basic moving coverage include?

Every move includes basic released-value protection at no cost. It pays 60¢ per pound, per item. For example, a 50 lb TV would be covered for about $30. We explain this before you book so there are no surprises.

What is full-value protection?

Full-value protection means damaged items are repaired, replaced or paid out at their current value, up to the amount you declare. It costs more than basic coverage and is strongly recommended for antiques, electronics and art. Ask for it when you request your quote.

What happens if something gets damaged?

Point it out during the final walkthrough. We fix it before we leave or come back within 48 hours at no charge. For anything that needs a formal claim, we walk you through the process, and interstate moves have a federal claims window of nine months from delivery.

How do you protect my furniture and home?

Every item is padded or shrink-wrapped before it's loaded. Furniture is disassembled when needed, and we use floor and door protection where the route through your home calls for it.

Are your movers background-checked?

Yes. Our crews are our own trained employees, not day labor or subcontractors, and they're background-checked before they work in anyone's home.

Packing & Preparation

6 questions
Do you offer packing services?

Yes. Choose full packing, partial packing (just the kitchen or a few rooms), or fragile-only packing. We can also unpack and set up at your new home.

How should I prepare before the movers arrive?

Pack anything you're doing yourself and label boxes by room on two sides. Empty, defrost and dry the fridge. Keep valuables, medications and important papers with you. Reserve elevators or loading docks, and make sure there's parking close to your door for the truck.

What items can't you move?

We can't transport hazardous materials (propane, gasoline, paint, ammunition, cleaning chemicals), perishable food or, on interstate moves, live plants. Please keep cash, jewelry and irreplaceable documents with you. You'll get a full list with your estimate.

Do you take apart and reassemble furniture?

Yes. Beds, tables, desks and most flat-pack furniture are disassembled, padded, moved and put back together where you want them.

Can you move pianos, safes and pool tables?

Yes. Heavy and specialty items need extra crew and equipment, so they're quoted separately. Mention them when you request your quote so we send the right team.

Do you move large appliances?

Yes. For safety, gas lines and water hookups should be disconnected and reconnected by a licensed technician. We handle the lifting, protecting and placing.

Long Distance & Interstate

6 questions
Do you handle long-distance moves?

Yes. We move from Houston to anywhere in Texas and across the lower 48 states.

Yes. The truck and crew that load in Houston deliver at your new home, with no warehouse transfers or handoffs to strangers mid-route.

How long does long-distance delivery take?

Moves within Texas usually arrive in about a day. Regional moves of 250 to 1,000 miles typically take two to four business days, and coast-to-coast moves five to ten. Your delivery window is confirmed in writing.

Will I get updates while my things are in transit?

Yes. You'll have a delivery window in writing, and your move coordinator keeps you updated during transit. You can call them anytime.

What paperwork comes with an interstate move?

You'll receive a written estimate, an inventory of your items, a bill of lading and the FMCSA booklet "Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move." We explain each document in plain English.

What if my new home isn't ready when the truck arrives?

We offer storage-in-transit. Your belongings are stored safely until you're ready, then delivered. Rates are quoted up front.
